MSB ANNIVERSARY TORONTO MINI-REUNION

Cornel,
As "Chef de Mission" of this little
enterprise, you can invite whichever of the OB's you'd like - it's your
"thing" - but I will also suggest that you might wish to consider a
second roti-place, in Pickering, named "Island Mix", 1040 Brock Rd.,
Pickering, ON L1W 3X4 (Ph: 905 831-1649).
It's a lot more lively, and the food is very good
indeed.
However, if you're having a crowd of more than,
say, 12 people, you might find it more convenient to use Rotilicious.
If you intend to invite any others of the Old Boys,
feel free to do so.
Here's a database of the Ontario-based OB's, for
your information.
(Kazim said he's like to have such a dB prepared -
so here it is).
A word of caution - Rotilicious is bigger and can
easily hold the crowd.
Make sure everyone realizes that they have to pay
for themselves - probably no more than $10.00 per person.
Of course, spouses and girl-friends, and even
children should also be most welcome.
If Shish and Freddy need a lift, we'll have to make
arrangements for them, unless they'll be driving themselves.

Cornel,
We should be quite excited about the news that
Shish and Freddy are due to arrive into Toronto during the first week of May,
and it would be nice to try to get together during their visit.
As I understand it, Shish will be here between May
1-5, and Freddy will be arriving on May 3rd.
In other words, May 4th is THE ONLY DAY on which we
can reasonably get together. Please let me know what your plans are, to get
together for a roti and Carib, and I'll be more than happy to meet with you.
I'm sure that there are roti shops all over the GTA
and you'll only have to select one.
I believe that Glen McKoy had indicated his
willingness to come to a get together, so it is possible that he might attend
as well.
I'm therefore copying him on this email too.

So very Great to hear from you.
I don't know if you are aware, or if you have heard, but Andres (Freddy)
Freytes will be coming up to Toronto around the same time, I believe he was in
my class.
It is always exciting hearing from a Mount 'Old Boy’, even better if you
get to meet them in person.
That you will be up here in Toronto from May 1st; to May 5th. will be a
terrific opportunity to meet you.
If you have a sec. could you let me know when you attended The Abbey
School?
Have you had a chance to contact Nigel Boos. He lives in Ajax, just
45mins. outside of Toronto.
That is where the little restaurant called "Rotiliscious" is
located, where we have enjoyed the great company of those brothers that
visited, and enjoyed a nice Roti and Carib together.
If you have any pictures of your time at The Abbey School,
It would provide a great chance to reminisce.

Been asked to go to Toronto next week on a
consulting trip.
Will actually be in Mississauga.

Went to mass at Abbey last Sunday.
It was a beautiful mass, Fr.Odo and Fr.Cuthbert
presided over the mass.
It brought so much memories, if those two men knew
how much an impact they had on my life, it was so great to see them both
together doing what they do best.

Does anyone know if Richard Diaz who lives in
Tobago is an alumnus of Abbey School, he was a monk for a while, and I think
his contemporaries were Fr. Vincent and Bro. Paschal.
He used to pay us a visit at least once a year.

SPECIAL RECOGNITIONS
I agree with all recommendations and will support them.
I agree with all recommendations and will support them.
Suggest that we differentiate the gift level for
our old teachers who are still living; Father Augustine for example and any
other priest, brother, layperson that taught us or mentored our growth at the
Abbey School.
Would also like to see Mr Roberts (Brother Vincent)
recognized as he played a major positive part in our lives....

are devoting to all the preparations, George (Yury, Shish)
