Dear
All,
For
those who do not already know, unless Gabriel corrects me as he would
know better, I just wanted to remind all that the minimum standard of
dress is ordinary business dress that one would wear to work on an
ordinary day: shirts either square cut or in trousers; jackets, ties
and shirt jack shirts not required.
No
sneakers polos, jeans, sweat and T shirts.
Sincerely,
Joe

To
all the attendees at the ASAA Reunion Celebration in trinidad
Congratulations
to everyone who has been involved in preparing and coordinating this
wonderful program, honouring the 100th Anniversary of the
establishment of Mt. St. Benedict, and recognizing the contributions
of Ladislao Kertesz and Don Mitchell, among so many others. Well
done, everyone! Let's keep the movement going.
I'm
sorry that I cannot be there with you during this significant event.
Please accept my warmest good wishes for a happy, safe and enjoyable
reunion. May it strengthen the bonds we're trying to forge, of
friendship and brotherhood among the Old Boys of the Abbey School.
My
warm greetings too, to Fr. Cuthbert, and with sincere thanks for all
that he has done over the years to foster among us Old Boys a sense
of belonging and caring that seems to permeate our relationships 25
years after the closure of our old school.
God
be with you and bless you all. Have a great time.

Dear
Fellow Alumni,
Please
find attached information on the events which we discussed earlier
today.
Although
your space has been reserved, it is essential that you contact the
coordinator(s) indicated on the flier to confirm your attendance and
arrange for payment.
I
am sorry if by chance your name was not one of those on the e-mail
list.
By
copy of this e-mail I am informing the keepers of the database of
your current contact information.
Please
note that the meeting of the ASAA will be on Monday evening at 4:30
pm at Dennis Gurley's office not Tuesday as incorrectly stated.
Your
attendance is important to the association more deliberating defining
a role for itself going forward and is an opportunity for those whom
may wish to do things differently to become involved in running the
organisation.
Please
give me a call, if you need any more information.
Yours
most sincerely,

Dear
Don,
Looking
forward so much to being there.
There
was only one flight a week that went from home in Colombia to mount
and back, so the experience of being the only boy sleeping alone in
the dorms for several days before school started and after school
ended, is tucked away in my memory even though some night were good
and some were not.
One
time I arrived with a bad cold and developed such a fever that Cutty
had to rush me to a clinic (in Tunapuna?).
If
I had the chance to stay there, at least I would have company. :)
I
guess I should go about making different arrangements.
See
you soon!

My
Dear Brother
Norman,
(The Knight of Films) (Take some pictures ha! ha!)
Your
email is like music to our ears, the words you write are straight
from our hearts. Fr. Cuthbert, this guy who believed in me when I was
a young pup.
He
supported my musical ambitions; I became the captain of the high
school band,
Please
give him my love, make sure that hug is good, ha! ha!
So
good to read how this spirit works in mysterious ways, I am glad to
see you got the calling my brother, you represent us all.
I
am sorry I am unable to join you, just back from the last reunion in
Ajax 4 days ago; the brotherhood is so alive and kicking ha! ha!.
May
God Bless you my brother, have a great trip. Live life large my
friend ha! ha! Cheers!!
Thank
you for sharing this with us.
Welcome
to the Club, where your dreams becomes reality,
Best
Regards, Glen McKoy / Duncan's Cove / Nova Scotia / Canada.

My
dear friends.
I
always keep myself tethered to all the people I have connected with
in my life... I drift along with them at varying distances.
There
are glorious moments when the distance is no longer there and you are
again face to face.
It
looks like the announced 100 year celebrations scheduled for the end
of May include a lunch for Father Cuthbert, and that was the catalyst
for me to buy my ticket to POS.
I
leave MIA Sunday May 20 in the morning and arrive after lunch.
I'd
like to make my way to Mount with the bare necessities; a sheet,
light blanket, towel, toiletries, and sleep in one of the
dormitories... go to Cutty's lunch and experience a dream come true.
What
an incredible pilgrimage.
Who
else is coming?
Quien
mas se le apunta?
